     Known the world over, Jazz Music is one of the only and few art forms to originate from America. The "Jazz Age" of course is long gone but Jazz Music continues to find it's audiance through Radio, Satellite Radio, Cable TV, Recordings and Live Performances.

 

     The Cannon Cafe' will feature everything jazz from latin, calypso, spanish, traditional, fusion, bop, hip-hop and of course smooth jazz. Here at the Cafe' we play the music that will .....

Renowned, chart-topping guitarist Tim Bowman has a way of making melding smooth jazz, gospel, soul and blues seem effortless as evidenced throughout his more than 30 years in music, including his 2017, seventh studio album, Into the Blue, on I.M. Records / Purpose Jazz. The Detroit native, who grew up playing guitar in church, attended the College of Creative Studies, and served as the musical director for gospel luminaries the Winans before embarking on his solo career in 1987, continues to carve a niche for himself.

"Turn It Up" (2014), which featured the Soul Train Award Nominated, Billboard #1 Smash Hit "Let's Ride" was Vandell's introduction to the world as a world class artist and musician. Since the release of "Turn It Up" Vandell has been afforded the opportunity to play venues and festivals around the world, such as the Catalina Island Jazz Trax Festival and the Legendary Ronnie Scott's in London,UK. 

Vandell has been honored to open for and share the stage with Kirk Whalum, Paul Brown, Peter White, Rick Braun, Bobby Lyle, Marion Meadows and many others.
