As I host many Corporate and Private parties, I'm often asked.......What Is Jazz? Why Is there Jazz? Where has it been? Where is it going? As I ponder those questions, my response has and probably will remain the same......IT'S YOU!!! Jazz is everything that creates your very being.
That rhythm as you walk, cycle and or run.............................................................That's Jazz
That soft whimper when your in deep thought......................................................That's Jazz
That gentle breeze that engulfs you as the sun sets................................................That's Jazz
Jazz IS the essence of all that was, is and to come - 2nd to GOD ALMIGHTY Jazz is YOU!
So with that thought in mind, Windy City Jazz Music was born. Check me out every Monday thru Thursday from 10pm til 2am on WSRB 106.3 fm (just click that listen live button up top). I'll be playing some of the best Jazz around. Some smooth jazz, latin jazz, some bop, Some Coltrane, Miles, some Koz and Klugh! WCJM will be showcasing some up and coming artist too. You never know what you might hear. I'll be playing the songs that remind you of what you missed!
There will be some hot interviews from some of the best Jazz musicians and singers and you'll get to see what happens behind the scenes during a real radio show, what happens when the mic turns off and the music plays but you'll have to tune in to the live stream to see. This is definitely not your Daddy's Jazz!
So sit back and enter into into my world of dreams, thoughts, visions and reality! In this very complex world we journey through daily, all of us are in search of......(fill in the blank), and within that search, we all have 1 common denominator, that's the Love of Music! Music? Music!!!!
